Former Def Jam artist, Pittsburgh Slim is back with a new name and a fresh new sound. Slimmie Hendrix release his new single, “Stuntman”, through Snowballers Entertainment. The record label founded by the award winning music video director, Ray Kay.
Slimmie Hendrix began as a member of the Pittsburgh indie rap group Strict Flow. He relocated to Los Angeles, California, and released the single “Girls Kiss Girls” under the name Pittsburgh Slim. The song gained popularity from its video on YouTube, leading Jay-Z to sign him to Def Jam Recordings, where he released his solo debut LP, Tastemaker, in December 2007. In Januaray 2011, he teamed up with Snowballers Entertainment – the record label founded by the award winning director, Ray Kay.
Ray Kay has directed the most watched video throughout history on YouTube, Justin Bieber’s “Baby”. He has directed music videos for artists such as Lady Gaga, Willow Smith, Beyoncé Knowles, Enrique Iglesias, Cheryl Cole, Diddy, Sean Paul, Destiny’s Child and Christina Milian.
Axident is a new Norwegian music producer, credited with creating huge dance hits in Norway. He has a fresh new sound, combining dance, urban and pop elements.
